I've talked with Dan on the phone a couple times.
he's a really nice guy.
shit like this ought to happen to people that deserve it, and he sure as hell doesn't.

y'know, not to be a downer, but whether or not anyone deserves any physical malady not caused by another person doesn't really have much effect on whether or not it happens...
